Welcome to Subhali Paribahan. By accessing our website, mobile app, or booking any of our bus services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services and form a legally binding agreement between you and Subhali Paribahan. Please read them carefully before making a booking or using our platform.
By using our website, app, or any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you accept these terms on their behalf as well.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page regularly.
All ticket bookings made through Subhali Paribahan are subject to seat availability. A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and you receive an e-ticket or confirmation SMS/email.
- Passengers must carry a valid photo ID and their e-ticket (digital or printed) at the time of boarding.
- Seat numbers assigned at the time of booking are final. Seat changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 6 hours before departure.
- Subhali Paribahan reserves the right to reassign seats in cases of operational necessity, without any compensation obligation.
- Bookings made through unauthorised agents or third-party platforms not affiliated with Subhali Paribahan may not be honoured.
All ticket prices displayed on our platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and may vary based on route, seat type, travel date, and availability.
- Payments must be made in full at the time of booking through our accepted payment methods (UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, or wallets).
- Subhali Paribahan is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by your bank or payment provider during the transaction.
- In case of payment failure where the amount is deducted but booking is not confirmed, the amount will be refunded within 5–7 business days.
- Special fares, festival discounts, or promotional prices cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Cancellations are accepted subject to the following conditions. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method only.
- More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund minus a processing fee of ₹50 per ticket.
- 24 to 48 hours before departure: 75% refund of the ticket fare.
- 12 to 24 hours before departure: 50% refund of the ticket fare.
- Less than 12 hours before departure: No refund will be issued.
- No-shows (failure to board without prior cancellation) are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Tickets booked under special promotional fares may not be eligible for refunds. The applicable fare rules will be displayed at the time of booking.
- Refunds for cancellations made by Subhali Paribahan due to operational reasons will be processed in full within 7 business days.
Each passenger is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal luggage as part of their journey. The following rules apply:
- Each passenger is allowed up to 20 kg of luggage stored in the under-bus compartment, free of charge.
- One small cabin bag (not exceeding 7 kg) may be kept in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
- Excess luggage beyond the permitted limit is subject to additional charges payable directly to the crew before departure.
- Subhali Paribahan is not liable for damage to, loss of, or theft of any luggage or personal belongings during the journey.
- Passengers are strictly prohibited from carrying prohibited items including explosives, flammable materials, sharp weapons, narcotics, or any item that may endanger fellow passengers.
Subhali Paribahan strives to maintain punctual service on all routes. However, departure times are subject to change due to traffic conditions, weather, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Passengers are advised to arrive at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- Buses will not wait for late-arriving passengers. No refund will be issued if a passenger misses the bus due to late arrival.
- In the event of significant delays caused by Subhali Paribahan, passengers will be notified via SMS or WhatsApp to their registered contact number.
- Subhali Paribahan shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or additional costs arising due to delays or schedule changes beyond our control.
All passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the journey. The following rules must be observed:
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited inside the bus at all times.
- Passengers must not disturb, threaten, or engage in any antisocial behaviour towards fellow passengers or crew members.
- Playing loud music, videos, or games without headphones is not permitted out of courtesy for fellow travellers.
- Passengers causing damage to bus property will be held liable for repair costs.
- Subhali Paribahan reserves the right to deboard any passenger who violates these conduct rules without any refund obligation.
Subhali Paribahan's liability to any passenger is limited to the value of the ticket purchased. We shall not be held responsible for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.
- Loss of business, income, profits, or data resulting from delays, cancellations, or disruptions to service.
- Personal injury or property damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including accidents, natural disasters, or acts of third parties.
- Service interruptions caused by technical failures, government orders, or force majeure events.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
In case of any dispute, we encourage passengers to first contact our customer support team to seek an amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings.
Subhali Paribahan reserves the right to amend, update, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
